Gill Montie
Gill Monte, born in Traverse City, MI on December 18, 1954, has had a fascinating journey through the world of tattoos and acting. Growing up between Detroit, Chicago, and Southern California, Monte developed a passion for tattoos at a young age, starting to create them by hand in 1969.
In 1971, Monte made the decision to join the Marine Corps, serving until 1973. After his military service, he embarked on an apprenticeship in 1974 in Southern California under the guidance of Doc Dog. This marked the beginning of his professional tattooing career, a path he has never strayed from.
In addition to his success in the tattoo industry, Monte has also ventured into the world of acting. He has appeared in TV shows and movies, showcasing his talent on screen. Some of his notable works include roles in "The Little Death" and "Roxanne," where he has brought characters to life with his acting abilities as a tattoo artist.
Over the last 30 years, Gill Monte has left his mark all over the world through his tattooing skills and fame. His expertise has taken him to various countries, where he has undoubtedly considered a legend in the industry.
