Kim Saigh
At age 18, Kim Saigh began her journey in the world of tattooing as an apprentice at a friend's tattoo studio. By age 21, she had already made a name for herself in the industry and moved to Chicago, Illinois, following the advice of renowned tattoo artist Guy Aitchison.
For 13 years, Kim honed her craft and tattooed countless clients in Chicago. Her dedication and skill led her to open her own studio, Cherry Bomb Tattoo, where she continued to showcase her talent and creativity.
Kim's reputation as a great tattoo artist caught the attention of the producers of the TLC reality show LA Ink. This opportunity propelled her career to new heights, and she soon found herself in Los Angeles, California, filming the show and showcasing her exceptional talent to a wider audience.
Kim Saigh's work is a reflection of her diverse inspirations, drawing from Art Nouveau, religious art, fairy tale art, Eastern art, and more. Her unique style and attention to detail have earned her the title of a master of all tattoo styles.
In 2009, Kim and her partner, fellow artist Shawn Barber, opened Memoir Tattoo in Los Angeles, further solidifying her place in the tattooing world as a true artist and innovator.
