Originally hailing from Southern California, Melissa Reyes made a life-changing move to Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2008. This pivotal decision not only led her to immerse herself in the world of tattooing but also to co-found a successful tattoo studio and supply company alongside her husband, Indio, who is also a tattoo artist. With 15 years of professional experience under her belt, Melissa has consistently honed her craft, evolving her techniques and delivering deeply meaningful works of art to her clients.
Melissa’s approach to tattooing is highly personal, crafting each piece as a reflection of her clients’ unique stories and passions. Whether working in black and grey or vibrant color, she gravitates toward realism, channeling her artistry into tattoos that are more than just designs—they’re declarations. Her own introduction to tattooing began as a client in 1998, and after an experience that finally resonated with her, she knew this path was her calling.
Her husband Indio has been a source of endless inspiration, continually encouraging her to explore every aspect of tattooing. Melissa also emphasizes the importance of using high-quality tools, believing that the right equipment allows her to focus solely on perfecting her art.
