@lowbogee_art

Lobo Arroyo, widely known as Lowbo Gee, is a Black and Grey tattoo artist celebrated for his distinctive focus on Chicano art and Cultura-inspired designs. Born and raised in Elgin, IL, Lobo grew up deeply connected to the traditions of lowriding and the vibrant Chicano culture that surrounded him. These influences have profoundly shaped both his identity and his artistic vision. His work, a striking blend of cultural heritage and personal expression, reflects his respect for tradition while also pushing creative boundaries.

Although Lobo has only been a professional tattoo artist for two years, his passion for art has been a lifelong journey. At just 23 years old, he has spent his entire life creating, experimenting, and honing his craft. Art, for Lobo, is more than a career—it is a personal journal, a tool for storytelling, and a way to connect with others on a deeply emotional level. Whether he's working on tattoos, sketching on paper, painting on canvas, or creating large-scale murals, his art serves as a reflection of his journey, values, and heritage.

Lobo’s ability to seamlessly incorporate elements of Chicano culture into his designs has earned him recognition as an artist whose work resonates deeply with themes of identity, tradition, and self-expression. From intricate tattoos rooted in cultural symbolism to bold murals that capture the essence of his upbringing, every piece Lobo creates tells a story. His dedication to uplifting and honoring his community through art has not only gained him a growing base of clients but also a reputation as an emerging voice in the world of artists connected to their roots.
