Rember Orellana, a prominent figure in the tattoo industry, co-founded the Dark Age Tattoo Shop in Denton, Texas, in 2014, alongside Francisco Sanchez. Born in Guatemala, Rember moved to Mexico at the age of four before immigrating to the United States at 14. His passion for art was evident from a young age, as he spent much of his childhood drawing and later enrolled in art classes. Rember began his professional journey as a tattoo artist in 2007 and has since become renowned for his electrifying designs. Throughout his 13-year career, he has attended numerous tattoo conventions across the United States, which has provided him with opportunities to learn from some of the finest artists in the tattoo community.

In addition to honing his craft, Rember has dedicated significant time to studying art and imparting his knowledge through tattoo seminars nationwide. His commitment to growth is paralleled by his desire to nurture fellow artists, as he finds teaching as gratifying as learning. Reflecting on his journey, Rember stated, “Teaching to me is just as gratifying as learning because seeing the passion in people to learn motivates me and reminds me that I have to keep learning as well.” With the recent opening of a second Dark Age Tattoo Shop in Fort Worth, Rember continues to fulfill his vision of creating an environment where artists thrive and clients enjoy an exceptional tattooing experience, expanding the legacy of high-quality work that began in Denton.
