Fiddy X Mago Lanyard

Yong Tao, better known as School Fiddy, grew up in the Sichuan countryside, discovering Chicano culture through bootleg movies and hip-hop tapes long before he ever picked up a machine. He taught himself the style from scratch — no mentors from East LA, no shortcuts — and built a reputation in Chongqing for clean shading and fine line work that holds up next to anyone doing it at the source.

Mago Kim found the same pull, an ocean away in South Korea, at a time when tattooing there could get you in real trouble. That didn't stop him. He kept at it, refining a lettering-heavy style that carries his own heritage right alongside the Chicano influence that first hooked him.

Two guys who found the same art form on their own, from opposite sides of the world — that's the whole reason this tee exists. Fiddy and Mago sat down and actually collaborated, not just slapped two names on a shirt. His shading runs into her lettering, his composition holds her linework — joker, pin-up, script, all working as one piece instead of two artists competing for space. That's harder to pull off than it looks. Most tattooers want the work to read as unmistakably theirs. These two let that go.
